Welcome to the foundation

The Mauritanian heart foundation was created to assist the development of Mauritanian populations in the areas of health and social welfare.
Much of the foundation’s work will be devoted to the surgery activities covering open and closed heart interventions for adults, children and newborns as well as vascular and chest interventions.

Madam TEKBER MINT MELAININE, Honorary President of the Mauritanian Heart Foundation embodies humanism and charities which are the foundations of our institution.

She argued with fierce determination, the establishment of the Foundation which was created to help meet the challenges facing our country and the region.

Madam TEKBER MINT MELAININE more aware and more committed than ever in the battle for human development and access of its citizens to health, is sparing no effort to achieve the objectives of the foundation.
